The very first and deput show about my “Yellow Universe” at
Gallery Raum mit Licht Vienna
Ernst Koslitsch, a master of innovation and limited tools, constantly challenges himself to create remarkable artworks. His latest development takes us on a journey into a yellow-hued prehistoric realm.
From small, intricate figurines merging into large wall installations to wooden trolleys resembling sacred objects, Koslitsch works with raw, wild, and ancient wood sourced from construction sites.
His vibrant works on paper, featuring pastel crayons as his favored medium, showcase his unique, naive, and colorful artistic style. These creations are part of his "Yellow Universe," a parallel world of creativity. His newest sereis, "The First 5000 Years," a wall-filling sculpture consisting of 38 delicate woodcuts, draws inspiration from ancient rock art found in various parts of the world.
Influenced by cave paintings, stone paintings, geoglyphs, and recent discoveries, Koslitsch's art is a mesmerizing blend of imagination and exploration.
