Gallery Raum mit Licht presented new sculptures and paintings by Ernst Koslitsch in a solo booth presentation at Spark Art Fair, Vienna’s newly launched art fair, curated by Josephine Wagner. The works continue Koslitsch’s ongoing project Yellow Universe, a parallel fantasy world built primarily from used, yellow painted wooden panels found on construction sites. Alongside the sculptures, the presentation included paintings and drawings that unfold the narratives behind the sculptural figures, drawing on science fiction, mythology and early cave paintings as reference points for an invented, constructed cosmology.
